Alan McCabe -- that's me -- worked as a musician for 15 years under the somewhat goofy band moniker Bernie Bernie Headflap, and most of that time was spent working alone due to poor health. When in 2006 Alan received a much needed kidney transplants, many changes quickly ensued. He looked up his favorite local music compadres and edited the former name to something less goofy and more rockin.
